  • Differentiate between variations of normal and abnormal female and male genital dermatology;
  • Determine if a diagnosis can be treated on site or if it needs referral to higher level specialty care;
  • Review infections and dermatoses of female and male genital skin; and
  • Discuss diagnosis and management of chronic vulvar pain conditions in women.

  • Identify selective criteria for three “new” contraceptive methods.

  • Describe the three areas of disagreement between many state laws and the 2006 Recommendations for HIV Testing in Healthcare Settings and at least one way to reconcile each of the three differences;

  • Explain the ACTS curriculum for streamlined HIV "Counseling" and the application of the curriculum in Family Planning settings; and

  • Describe the process and three benefits of integration of the ACTS curriculum into a reproductive health visit.
