Greetings Title X Grantee Agencies,
Welcome to the April 2007 RTC monthly Listserv!
April was a very busy month for all of us here at the Region I Family
Planning Training Center. This month, we wrapped up the 2006-2007
training calendar with some great trainings in Boston and Rhode Island.
We also just returned from the 28th JSI Annual Reproductive Health
Conference in Marlborough, MA. Thanks to all of you who were able
to attend and also encouraged your staff to attend this year's conference.
As you know, this was the last year of the annual conference.
It has been a wonderful run of quality conferences and has provided
Region I a valuable space for dialogue among family planning grantees.
We are in the midst of deciding whether or not we will hold the conference
biannually or once every few years moving forward. Once we confirm
the best course moving forward we will let you know. In the meantime,
we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support
of the Region I Training Center. You make our project such an honor
to be a part of.
As always, we have included the month of April's article
highlights which can be found below. You can simply open the attachments
or click on the links that pertain to each topic to read more about
a particular issue. Also, please remember to check out the announcements,
meetings and other calendar reminders at the end of this e-mail.
We know that you are all very busy providing much needed
services to your clients and staff. This is why we hope the Listserv
will serve as a resource to keep you up-to-date on the latest public
health information.
The Listserv e-mail will arrive in your in box on the
last Tuesday of every month. Please respond to this e-mail address
if you have any questions, comments or additions to the monthly Listserv.
Thank you for your wonderful support of the RTC.
Warm Regards,
The JSI RTC Team
