Region I Title X Family Planning Training Center

Since 1978 JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. has served as the Region I Title X Family Planning Training and Technical Assistance Center, through funding received from DHHS, Office of Population Affairs/ Office of Family Planning (OPA/OFP). The Regional Training Center serves all disciplines of family planning staff and includes training on clinical, managerial, counseling, and health education topics. Regardless of the training topic, there is an emphasis on fostering skills necessary to provide high quality care to clients, particularly teenagers and low-income women in need of reproductive health care services.
